Big Bang Theory join Team Ritter

This crossover is incredible in quite a number of ways.

Big Bang Theory join Team Ritter to raise funds for aortic health research

My friends over at the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health work tirelessly on raising awareness and funds for their research and they're about to run the New York Marathon to raise funds. It's fantastic to see The Big Bang Theory putting their support behind it and becoming part of the Ritter Crew

Kaley Cuoco starred in 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter together with John  Ritter before Big Bang. Simon Helberg and Jason Ritter were college room mates, and Jim Parsons has often and famously spoken of his admiration for John Ritter and the fact that John has been one of the greatest influences on him.

Three's Company is my favourite sitcom in the world, followed by Big Bang Theory and I think it's because of the influences of Three's Company on Big Bang Theory.  I love this!!!

You can also become a Team Ritter support crew member! Here's how:   For $15 you can purchase a shirt and all funds go directly to the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health. Then share your pic with us on social media using the hashtag #TeamRitter to help raise awareness and save lives. www.rittercrew2014.com

Where's Sheldon Cooper? He's here!

The Big Bang Theory ended Season 7 on a cliff hanger with Sheldon about to board a train and head off into the unknown.  This is kinda distressing for BBT fans as we're not sure how well Sheldon can cope on his own.

However, I'm here to tell you that it's all okay! The world has CCTV cameras, and we can see pretty well where Sheldon is.

Help Kaley Cuoco Sweeting Save the Seals

Hey all!! Well, I'm in a bit of an emotional way tonight, and it's too hard to allow myself to go to the place, even mentally, where seals are being killed by man for sport.

No... no, no!! Not today, not ever, should this be a reality!! But it is. I logged onto Twitter and saw a viral campaign taking place right under my eyes. Kaley Cuoco Sweeting's campaigning against the commercial seal hunt in Canada, and she needs your help.

Enough is enough, really! Let's stop this! I read the following quote by the genius Leonardo Da Vinci today:

""Truly man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds them. We live by the death of others. We are burial places! I have since an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men will look upon the murder of animals as they look upon the murder of man."

Let's make that time now!

Jim Parsons is Wheelchair Jimmy and he needs your help!

Hey all! As most of you know I'm a big fan of the show The Big Bang Theory. I have a Google Alert on the name 'Jim Parsons', one of the stars of the show. One my Google Alert results included a link which read "Jim Parsons Looks to Raise $50,000 via Indiegogo to Take WheelchairJimmy and His Accessibility Travel Website to the Next Level of Success"

It intrigued me!

When I clicked it I realised that this WASN'T the Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory. But it didn't matter because when I read about the cause I knew I wanted to chat to THIS Jim Parsons and see if I could bring a bit of exposure to what he is doing.

There are probably two things you need to know before you read further.

Knock Knock Knock ... BBT! Knock Knock Knock... BBT! Knock Knock Knock... BBT!

My family and I have fallen hook line and sinker for The Big Bang Theory. So much so that our catch phrase right now is Bazinga! and we knock on doors, windows, whatever there is to knock on in the Sheldon Cooper style.

Knock knock knock Penny! Knock knock knock Leonard!

We ogle over Sheldon's shirts and are toying with the idea (not really, as shipping is too expensive) of ordering a shirt or two from America. We have come to the conclusion that we are nerds, and geeks (yes, I know, many people will be surprised that it's taken us this long to realise it).

The ball pit scene from Season 3 Episode 14 "The Einstein Approximation" had us laughing for days.

The Big Bang Theory stars Johnny Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter, Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting as Penny, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz, Kunal Nayyar as Raj Koothrappali, Melissa Rauch as Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz, and Mayim Bialik as Amy Farrah Fowler.
